The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Obras (31-13) in Bahia Blanca on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked Bahia Basket (17-26) 75-62. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Obras. The game without a history. Bahia Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Bahia Basket forced 22 Obras turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Lisandro Rasio (198-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. Panamanian center Jamaal Levy (206-83, college: Wake Forest) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Bahia Basket players scored in double figures. Bahia Basket's coach Sebastian Ginobili used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Patricio Tabarez (195-91) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican Ramon Clemente (200-85, college: Wichita St.) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Obras. Bahia Basket maintains seventh place with 17-26 record. Obras at the other side still keeps top position with 13 games lost.
