Regular Season Round 20: Aros Leon - Ensino 76-68

The most important game in the last round took place in Leon between second ranked Maquinaria Ensino (16-4) and fifth ranked Aros Leon (14-6) on Saturday night. Maquinaria Ensino was defeated by Aros Leon in a tough game on the road 68-76. The game without a history. Aros Leon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Aros Leon outrebounded Maquinaria Ensino 37-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American power forward Aulani Sinclair (186-90, college: Indiana) who scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Natalia Lopez (171-93) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Aros Leon players scored in double figures. Argentinian forward Paula Reggiardo (178-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and Chilean center Tatiana Gomez (193-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aros Leon have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Arxil Pontev. and Cortegada. Maquinaria Ensino at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Aros Leon is looking forward to face league's leader GDKO Bizkaia in Galdakao in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Maquinaria Ensino will play at home against Universidad de Valladolid and is hoping to win this game.
