It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Segle XXI. Segle XXI was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Leganes made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Leganes outrebounded Segle XXI 39-25 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian power forward Dovile Miliauskaite (187-89, college: Towson, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Center Alejandra De La Fuente (193-88) chipped in 17 points. Four Leganes players scored in double figures. Power forward Maria Martianez (187-97) produced 13 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Laia Raventos (171-97) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Segle XXI's coach Ivan Torinos tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Leganes have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain third position in Group B with 15-5 record having just three points less than leader GDKO Bizkaia. Loser Segle XXI keeps the seventh place with 11 games lost. Leganes will face UCAM Jairis (#9) in Alcantarilla in the next round where they are favorite. Segle XXI will play on the road against C.Adelantados in San Cristobal and hope to win that game.
