Regular Season Round 47: Bambitious Nara - Shiga L-Stars 77-85

Very expected game when 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (12-33) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Shiga L-Stars (27-16) 85-77 on Saturday. Bambitious Nara trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 26-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-85 at the end of the game. Shiga L-Stars dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Bambitious Nara's 46. Shiga L-Stars forced 19 Bambitious Nara turnovers and outrebounded them 43-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Yu Okada (184-83) helped adding 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Shiga L-Stars' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Tatsuya Suzuki (169-91) responded with 19 points and 9 assists and American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Five Bambitious Nara players scored in double figures. Shiga L-Stars maintains fourth place with 27-16 record. Bambitious Nara lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 33 games lost. Shiga L-Stars will have a break next round. Bambitious Nara will play again at home against Shiga L-Stars (#4) and hope to win that game.
