Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked SKK Siedlce (7-19) was outscored on the road by tenth ranked GKS Tychy (11-15) 81-57 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by GKS Tychy. SKK Siedlce managed to win second period 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. GKS Tychy forced 26 SKK Siedlce turnovers. Strangely SKK Siedlce outrebounded GKS Tychy 35-23 including 28 on the defensive glass. Piotr Halas (190-87) notched 13 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Tomasz Deja (200-83) supported him with 12 points. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by Kamil Sulima (193-80) did not help to save the game for SKK Siedlce. Center Kamil Gawrzydek (207-87, college: Idaho St.) added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. GKS Tychy have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place. SKK Siedlce at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth position with 19 games lost.
