Very expected game when 12th ranked Chalon/Saor (12-14) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Sluc Nancy (15-11) 74-59 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Sluc Nancy. Chalon/Saor was better in fourth quarter 19-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Chalon/Saor to just 5 points in first quarter. The former international Florent Pietrus (202-81) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American Vaughn Duggins (190-87, college: Wright St.) chipped in 21 points during the contest.
