Rather expected game when 9th ranked ADBA (6-14) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Real Celta Vigo (12-8) 52-47 on Saturday. ADBA was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 20-9 charge of Real Celta Vigo, which allowed them to win the game. Real Celta Vigo outrebounded ADBA 52-36 including a 22-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Mali center Minata Keita (190-89) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 22 rebounds. Forward Maria Perez Araujo (184-97) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Real Celta Vigo's coach Carlos Colinas allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American-Nigerian swingman Anma Onyeuku (181-91, college: Hofstra) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and forward Anna Boleda (181-81) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Real Celta Vigo maintains sixth position in Group A with 12-8 record. ADBA lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 14 games lost. Real Celta Vigo will face Oviedo (#10) on the road in the next round. ADBA will play against Arxil Pontevedra and hope to win that game.
