An interesting game took place in Las Palmas where higher ranked Zamarat (10-16) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Gran Canaria (9-17) 88-76. The game was mostly controlled by Gran Canaria. Zamarat was better in third quarter 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gran Canaria shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. American guard Robyn Parks (183-92, college: VCU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 32 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
