Horsholm defeated Lemvig to gain 2-1 lead in the semifinal series. Lemvig trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 25-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 70-75 at the end of the game. It was a good game for American center Joy Burke (196-90, college: Arizona St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks. Serbian forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Natalie Day (182-90, college: Portland) answered with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and American guard Joanna Miller (173-91, college: Grambling St.) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Lemvig.
