The game was mostly controlled by Satu Mare. Rapid was better in fourth quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Rapid 40-19 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for Flavia Ferenczi (175-91) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 assists. The former international point guard Ramona Tarta (173-89, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 18 points and 6 assists for the winners. Moldovan guard Natalia Burlakova (175-84) answered with 21 points and forward Daniela Bucica (179-86) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Rapid.
