Not a big story in a game in Zaragoza where 11th ranked Mann Filter (9-17) was defeated by sixth ranked Gernika (14-12) 69-60. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 18-14. But Mann Filter won second period 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American Bernice Mosby (186-84, college: Baylor, agency: Josep and Nicolas) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import center Britany Miller (193-87, college: Florida St., agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Latvian center Kristine Vitola (193-91, college: UTEP) replied with 13 points and 6 rebounds and FYR Macedonian Jelena Antic (187-91, college: Liberty) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Mann Filter. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Gernika maintains sixth position with 14-12 record. Mann Filter at the other side dropped to the ninth place with 17 games lost.
