Regular Season Round 22: Dunkerque - Limoges 83-81

The most exciting game of round 22 in the LF2 took place in Dunkerque. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Limoges (13-8) to third ranked Dunkerque (16-6) 83-81 in the game for the third place. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Limoges won fourth quarter 27-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 27 personal fouls committed by Limoges helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and guard Manon Sinico (180-85) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Dunkerque have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 16-6 record having just three points less than leader Nice. Limoges at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Charnay. Dunkerque will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Limoges will play at home against SIG (#10) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
