Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Spojnia (15-11) won against 10th ranked GTK Gliwice (10-16) in Stargard 79-64 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Spojnia. GTK Gliwice managed to win third quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Swingman Piotr Pluta (193-81, agency: Promotex) notched 20 points to lead the effort and power forward Arkadiusz Soczewski (201-82) supported him with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Even 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Hubert Pabian (200-89, agency: Promotex) did not help to save the game for GTK Gliwice. point guard Tomasz Wrobel (186-85) added 15 points for the guests. Four GTK Gliwice players scored in double figures. GTK Gliwice's coach Lukasz Kopera tested ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Spojnia moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Znicz Basket and Legia. Newly promoted GTK Gliwice keeps the tenth position with 16 games lost.
