Rather expected game when 6th ranked Hokkaido L. (15-31) lost to third ranked Dragonflies (19-25) in Saporro 74-90 on Sunday. Dragonflies made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for international power forward Kosuke Takeuchi (206-85, agency: APAA Sports Group) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Atsunobu Hirao (178-89) contributed with 19 points and 6 assists for the winners. American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and guard Tomokazu Abe (180-85) added 8 points, 8 assists and 5 steals in the effort for Hokkaido L.Hokkaido L.'s coach gave the chance to play for ten players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Dragonflies maintains third position with 19-25 record having nineteen points less than leader Hitachi SR. Hokkaido L. at the other side keeps the sixth place with 31 games lost. Dragonflies will face Toshiba Thunders (#3) in Kanagawa in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Hokkaido L. will play on the road against Wakayama T. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
