Saarlouis held off Halle in the opener. The game was mostly controlled by TV Saarlouis Royals. SV Halle Lions was better in fourth quarter 16-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding SV Halle Lions to just 6 points in first quarter.
