Leader Ironi Kiryat Ata delivered the nineteenth victory on Tuesday night. This time they beat 12th ranked Hasharon (7-17) 81-70 in Ramat Hasharon. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 44-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of American power forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Guy Dotan (178-91) who added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Martin Samarco (190-85, college: Bowling Green) with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Lorenzo Gordon (201-83, college: Oklahoma City) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ironi Kiryat Ata (19-5) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Loser Hasharon dropped to the thirteenth place with 17 games lost. Ironi Kiryat Ata will again meet at home Hasharon (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hasharon will play against Hapoel Kazrin (#7) and hope to secure a win.
