Everything went according to plan in Sao Paolo where sixth ranked Paulistano (16-13) beat 14th ranked SKY/Basquete (7-21) 86-78 on Wednesday. SKY/Basquete trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 21-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-86 at the end of the game. Paulistano forced 20 SKY/Basquete turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. Nigerian-American power forward Jefferson Agba (208-80, college: Embry Riddle) stepped up and scored 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and American point guard Kenny Dawkins (175-87, college: Lamar) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
