There was a minor upset in Belo Horizonte where 5th ranked Minas (17-13) was crushed by seventh ranked Pinheiros (16-14) 110-87 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Pinheiros. Minas was better in fourth quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pinheiros shot 61.0 percent from the field and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game.
