Very important is a road loss of third ranked Penarol (25-15) against ninth ranked Libertad Sunchales (16-27) on Friday night. Visiting Penarol was defeated by Libertad Sunchales in a tough game in Sunchales 84-88. Penarol was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 26-19 charge of Libertad Sunchales, which allowed them to win the game. They made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Libertad Sunchales especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Penarol was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch.
