No shocking result in a game in Sao Paolo where sixth ranked Paulistano (17-13) defeated 10th ranked Brasilia (12-18) 89-81 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 52-38 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Desmond Holloway (191-90, college: Co.Carolina) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import point guard Kenny Dawkins (175-87, college: Lamar) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was center Ronald Reis (211-91) who recorded 15 points and 9 rebounds and the former international Lucas Cipolini (206-86, college: BYU-Hawaii) added 14 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively.
