Quarter-Finals Round 1: Giessen 46ers - Heidelberg 77-64

Date: April 4, 2015
Giessen 46ers victoriously opened their playoff campaign. They knocked down Heidelberg in the opener. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Bjoern Schoo (213-81, college: Northern St.) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). American point guard Cameron Wells (186-88, college: Citadel) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five Giessen 46ers players scored in double figures. Giessen 46ers' coach Denis Wucherer allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American John Eggleston (203-88, college: Pennsylvania) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Bradley Tinsley (191-89, college: Vanderbilt) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for MLP Academics Heidelberg.
