Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Enel Brindisi (15-10) beat at home 8th ranked Tuscany Pistoia (10-14) 89-77. The game was mostly controlled by Enel Brindisi. Tuscany Pistoia was better in second period 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Enel Brindisi players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Central African-American power forward James Mays (206-86, college: Clemson) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American guard Marcus Denmon (191-90, college: Missouri) accounted for 27 points and 5 rebounds.
