Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Real Celta Vigo (13-8) won against on the road 10th ranked Oviedo (4-17) 63-55 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a good game for Mali center Minata Keita (190-89) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Maria Perez Araujo (184-97) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Argentinian Ines Orselli (-93) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and center Carolina Hernando (184-85) added 8 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Oviedo. Real Celta Vigo maintains sixth place in Group A with 13-8 record. Loser Oviedo keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost. Real Celta Vigo will face Araski AES (#7) in Vitoria-Gasteiz in the next round. Oviedo will play on the road against Arxil Pontevedra and hope to win that game.
