We should mention about the upset which took place in Jesi, where 11th ranked Lighthouse TR (11-16) lost to fourteenth ranked Fileni BPA Jesi (7-19) in a road game 74-90. The game was mostly controlled by Fileni BPA Jesi. Lighthouse TR was better in second period 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Lighthouse TR 44-26 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Mason Rocca (204-77, college: Princeton) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Stefano Borsato (192-86, agency: Two Points) contributed with 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Patrick Baldassarre (200-86, agency: Players Group) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Lighthouse TR. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Fileni BPA Jesi maintains fourteenth position with 7-19 record. Lighthouse TR at the other side dropped to the tenth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Casalpusterlengo. Fileni BPA Jesi will play against higher ranked Trieste (#7) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Lighthouse TR will play against Casalpusterlengo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
