Regular Season Round 28: Treviglio - Chieti 68-59

Date: April 4, 2015
Everything went according to plan when third ranked Treviglio (17-10) beat at home 7th ranked Chieti (14-14) 68-59. It looked good early as Chieti took a 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Treviglio took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 9 points. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Chieti to just 5 points in second quarter. The winners were led by guard Tommaso Marino (192-86) who scored that evening 18 points and 5 assists and the former international center Emanuele Rossi (206-82) supported him with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds by American guard Adam Sollazzo (198-90, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Two Points) did not help to save the game for Chieti. Center Andrea Ancellotti (212-88) added 12 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Treviglio have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 17-10 record having just three points less than leader Treviso Basket, which they share with Ferrara and Reggio Calabr. Chieti at the other side dropped to the ninth place with 14 games lost. Treviglio will play against league's second-placed Recanati on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Chieti will play against Reggio Calabr. (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
