Regular Season Round 27: Dijon - Bourg 117-113

Date: April 4, 2015
Not a big story in a game when 17th ranked JL Bourg (6-21) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked JDA Dijon (14-13) 117-113. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. 29 personal fouls committed by JL Bourg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The game was dominated by American players. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Erving Walker (173-90, college: Florida, agency: Two Points) who led the winners and scored 43 points (!!!) and 4 assists. Steven Gray (196-89, college: Gonzaga) accounted for 28 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. point guard Jordan Theodore (182-89, college: Seton Hall) came up with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists (went 18 for 18 at the free throw line !!!) and forward John Flowers (200-89, college: W.Virginia, agency: Inception Sports) added 22 points and 8 rebounds respectively for JL Bourg in the defeat. Four JDA Dijon and five JL Bourg players scored in double figures. JL Bourg's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. JDA Dijon moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted JL Bourg keeps the seventeenth position with 21 games lost. JDA Dijon's next round opponent will be Le Mans (#9) on the road. JL Bourg will play against Paris-Levallois (#11) and hope to win that game.
