Date: April 4, 2015
There was a small surprise in Mirandola where ninth ranked Mantovana (12-14) defeated 7th ranked Trieste (14-13) 59-52 on Saturday. Trieste trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 21-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 52-59 at the end of the game. Mantovana dominated on the defensive end, holding Trieste to just 6 points in third quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Polish power forward Jakub Wojciechowski (210-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized American forward Ryan Amoroso (205-85, college: San Diego St.) who added 10 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
