Wasserburg toppled Marburg on the road and advanced into the semifinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by TSV 1880 Wasserburg. BC Pharmaserv Marburg managed to win fourth quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TSV 1880 Wasserburg dominated on the defensive end, holding BC Pharmaserv Marburg to just 7 points in first and second quarters and to 14 points in first half. TSV 1880 Wasserburg forced 22 BC Pharmaserv Marburg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
