Regular Season Round 28: Cocodrilos - Toros 74-62

Date: April 5, 2015
Rather predictable result in Caracas where fourth ranked Cocodrilos (14-8) defeated 8th ranked Toros (8-14) 74-62 on Sunday. The game without a history. Cocodrilos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Walter Sharpe (206-86, college: UAB) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Cesar Garcia (175-89) who added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Marcus Elliott (191-84, college: Louisiana Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Alejandro Barrios (204-79) scored 21 points (made all of his seven free throws). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cocodrilos maintains fourth position with 14-8 record. Toros at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
