An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Jerusalem. Second ranked Hapoel Jerusalem faced one of their biggest challengers Hapoel Holon. Host Hapoel Jerusalem (19-7) smashed guests from Holon (14-12) 93-58. The game without a history. Hapoel Jerusalem led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Hapoel Holon's 32. Hapoel Jerusalem forced 19 Hapoel Holon turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Hapoel Holon's players. Hapoel Holon was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Deon Thompson (203-88, college: N.Carolina) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
