Quarter-Finals Round 4: Cherkasy - BC Kyiv 68-88

BC Kyiv upset Cherkasy on the road and won the quarterfinal series. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when BC Kyiv's pressure prevailed and they won that period 25-12 extending their advantage to 20 points. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Cherkasy helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Maksim Sandul (207-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Ruslan Otverchenko (192-90, agency: Beo Basket) who added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Five BC Kyiv players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Igor Krivtsov (201-86) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Cameron Rundles (185-88, college: Wofford) scored 12 points and 6 assists. Cherkasy's coach Maksym Mikhelson rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
