Dnipro withheld a late comeback rally from Mykolaiv and ensured 2-0 lead in the Superleague quarterfinal series. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-73. Dnipro outrebounded Mykolaiv 52-22 including a 24-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. International forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (202-89) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Alexander Sizov (199-88) chipped in 5 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Dnipro's coach Valdemaras Chomicius used entire bench in such tough game. Anatoliy Shundel (194-93) responded with 21 points and forward Mykhaylo Galenko (186-92) scored 15 points and 6 assists. Four Mykolaiv players scored in double figures.
