The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Boca Juniors' (20-28) road victory over 7th ranked Libertad Sunchales (16-29) 86-80 on Thursday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 26-18. But Libertad Sunchales won second period 22-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Quite impressive performance for the former international forward Fabian Ramirez (193-90) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 assists. Point guard Jonatan Treise (186-85) contributed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American guard Keyron Sheard (188-86, college: Chattanooga, agency: Haylett Sports) replied with 20 points and 7 assists and the former international power forward Alejandro Alloatti (203-84) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Libertad Sunchales. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Boca Juniors went down to seventh position due to points difference which they share with defeated Libertad Sunchales. Loser Libertad Sunchales keeps the seventh place with 29 games lost. Boca Juniors will face higher ranked Penarol (#3) in Mar del Plata in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
