Quarter-Finals Round 3: Mykolaiv - Dnipro 52-101

Dnipro thrashed Mykolaiv to complete the sweep of the semifinal series. The game without a history. Dnipro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Mykolaiv's 18. They outrebounded Mykolaiv 52-17 including a 36-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dnipro looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Mykolaiv's players. It was a great evening for international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (202-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Forward Alexander Sizov (199-88) helped adding 10 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Dnipro players scored in double figures. Dnipro's coach Valdemaras Chomicius felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Olexiy Onufriyev (200-82) with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Anatoliy Shundel (194-93) scored 11 points.
