Regular Season Round 32: Panteras - Gigantes 90-77

Date: April 10, 2015
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Caracas where ninth ranked Panteras (6-21) defeated 8th ranked Gigantes (8-18) 90-77 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 13 points. Panteras made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard R.L. Horton (182-89, college: S.Mississippi) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Morris Sierralta (190-87) who added 14 points during the contest. Four Panteras players scored in double figures. The former international guard Michael Flores (192-85) responded with 19 points and the former international forward Axiers Sucre (199-78) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Gigantes' coach Carl Herrera rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Panteras maintains ninth position with 6-21 record. Gigantes lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
