An interesting game for Cathay Life (14-1) which played against 3rd placed Chunghwa Telecom (6-9). First ranked Cathay Life had an easy win 77-49. Chunghwa Telecom was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 49-20 second half run of Cathay Life. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Chunghwa Telecom to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Chunghwa Telecom's 34. Cathay Life forced 29 Chunghwa Telecom turnovers.
