Third ranked Bucaneros (17-8) crushed at home 10th ranked Gaiteros (3-22) by 20 points 88-68, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. Gaiteros trailed 43-41 at halftime, rallying from a 29-12 deficit at the end of first quarter to trim the gap. Bucaneros dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Gaiteros' 16. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Pete Mickeal (199-78, college: Cincinnati, agency: Tycoon Sports Inc.) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and the other American import swingman Tim Pickett (192-81, college: Florida St., agency: Interperformances) who added 16 points during the contest.
