Semi-Finals Game 1: Iserlohn - Rist Wedel 85-94

Rist Wedel held off Iserlohn in the opening game of the semifinal series. American point guard Diante Watkins (174-90, college: Robert Morris) stepped up and scored 26 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Brandon Spearman (190-91, college: Hawaii) chipped in 30 points and 5 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Spearman is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side British forward Orlan Jackman (201-88, college: Oklahoma City) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Moritz Krume (202-94) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Iserlohn's coach Matthias Grothe rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
