There was no surprise when 7th ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (1-3) were defeated on the road by fourth ranked Garra Canera de Navolato (3-1) 82-76. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-13. But Pioneros Los Mochis won second period 24-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Garra Canera de Navolato well out of reach of Pioneros Los Mochis shooting 209.7 percent from the field and made 24-of-16 charity shots (150.0 percent) during the game. Garra Canera de Navolato shot the lights out from three nailing 18 long-distance shots on high 450.0 percentage.
