Regular Season Round 22: Dist.Olimpico - Sant Adria 57-48

Everything could happen in Madrid at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Dist.Olimpico and 5th ranked Sant Adria had identical 13-8 record. This time Dist.Olimpico used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Sant Adria de Besos 57-48. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sant Adria won third quarter 15-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for power forward Elena Diaz (188-92) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds. Patricia Arguello (178-87) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Power forward Marta Claret (185-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and center Olga Ruano (191-88, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sant Adria. Sant Adria's coach Jordi Vizcaino tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Dist.Olimpico maintains fourth position in Group B with 14-8 record. Sant Adria lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth place with nine games lost.
