Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Chalons-Reims (15-13) defeated at home 12th ranked Chalon/Saor (13-15) 84-80. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 6-point deficit before their 28-18 run, which allowed them to win the game.
