Quarter-Finals Round 4: ETB Wohnbau - Nuernberg 72-80

Nuernberg upset ETB Wohnbau on the road and sent the series into the decisive fifth game. Nuernberg made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by ETB Wohnbau helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Joshua Young (185-88, college: Drake) fired 25 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners. Point guard Braydon Hobbs (196-89, college: Bellarmine) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. Nuernberg's coach Ralph Junge used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Logan Stutz (205-88, college: Washburn) produced 25 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Chris Alexander (186-83, college: Southern) added 10 points respectively for lost side. Four ETB Wohnbau players scored in double figures.
