Regular Season Round 27: Hapoel Holon - Hapoel Eilat 86-88

Important game to mention about took place in Holon. Seventh ranked Hapoel Eilat (13-14) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 4th placed Hapoel Holon (14-13) 88-86 on Sunday evening. Hapoel Holon was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Hapoel Eilat made 25-of-30 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American Brian Asbury (201-86, college: Miami, FL) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import Khalif Wyatt (193-91, college: Temple) helped adding 25 points (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). The best for the losing side was naturalized American power forward Isaac Rosefelt (204-85, college: St.Thomas) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and American Dominic McGuire (206-85, college: Fresno St.) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Eilat moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ironi Nes-Ziona. Hapoel Holon lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Hapoel T-A. Hapoel Eilat will play against Maccabi Haifa (#9) at home in the next round. Hapoel Holon will play against Hapoel Tel-Aviv (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
