Very predictable result when sixth ranked Ravenna (18-11) beat at home 11th ranked Roseto (13-16) 77-67 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Emmanuel Holloway (185-86, college: Illinois St., agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 24 points. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American point guard Damier Pitts (177-89, college: Marshall) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Pierpaolo Marini (192-93) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Ravenna moved-up to fourth place. Roseto at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Ravenna will face Reggio Calabr. (#5) in Reggio Calabria in the next round. Roseto will play at home against Legnano (#14) and hope to win that game.
