Regular Season Round 51: Osaka Evessa - Takamatsu FA 91-66

Rather expected game when 8th ranked Takamatsu FA (14-34) was rolled over on the road by fifth ranked Osaka Evessa (27-21) 91-66 on Sunday. The game without a history. Osaka Evessa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Osaka Evessa forced 22 Takamatsu FA turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Joshua Dollard (203-86, college: USC Aiken) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Dexter Lyons (198-81, college: Cent.Florida, agency: I.D.S. Law) who recorded 17 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals and forward Andrais Thornton (203-85, college: NW Missouri St.) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Osaka Evessa maintains fifth place with 27-21 record. Takamatsu FA at the other side keeps the eighth position with 34 games lost. Osaka Evessa will face Oita Heat Devils (#7) at home in the next round. Takamatsu FA will play against Gunma and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
