Semi-Finals Game 2: Svendborg - Horsens IC 65-86

Horsens IC upset Svendborg away from home to take 2-0 lead in the semifinals. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Svendborg was better in third quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Horsens IC dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Svendborg's 28. They outrebounded Svendborg 34-21 including 20 on the defensive glass. Senegalese center Baye Keita (208, college: Syracuse) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 blocks. Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (199-85) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Horsens IC players scored in double figures. Argentinian-Italian point guard Antonio Porta (187-83, agency: Players Group) replied with 22 points and 5 assists and American center William Paul (208-88, college: Arkansas Tech) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Svendborg. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
