Not a big story in a game in Zagreb where 5th ranked KK Zadar (2-3) was defeated by leader Cibona (5-0) 78-67 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 20-6 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Cibona dominated on the defensive end, holding KK Zadar to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. KK Zadar was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Serbian Marko Jagodic Kuridza (205-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) stepped up and scored 27 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and power forward Ante Zizic (210-97) chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). KK Zadar will play at home against KK Zabok and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
