Very important is a road loss of third ranked Maccabi K/G (19-7) against seventh ranked Hapoel Kazrin (14-12) on Tuesday night. Visiting Maccabi K/G was defeated by Hapoel Kazrin in a tough game in Kazrin 80-84. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Maccabi K/G. It looked good early as Maccabi K/G took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Hapoel Kazrin took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 4 points. They made 23-of-25 charity shots (92.0 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Danny Rubin (198-91, college: Boston Coll.) notched 25 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Coty Clarke (201-92, college: Arkansas) supported him with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Five Hapoel Kazrin players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 17 rebounds by forward Terrence Watson (200-87, college: Ball St.) did not help to save the game for Maccabi K/G. Travis Releford (198-90, college: Kansas, agency: Two Points) added 23 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Maccabi K/G's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hapoel Kazrin moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ironi Ramat Gan. Newly promoted Maccabi K/G dropped to the second position with seven games lost. They share it with Hapoel Migd.H..
