Date: April 15, 2015
Rovinari nipped Pitesti to sweep the quarterfinal series. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 24-22 charge, which allowed them to win the game. CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Pitesti's 32. 24 personal fouls committed by Pitesti helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard Giordan Watson (178-85, college: Cent.Michigan) who scored 18 points and 8 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Porter Troupe (196-83, college: Portland, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Montenegrin center Stevan Milosevic (211-85, agency: Interperformances) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 17 rebounds and American point guard Ronald Ross (188-83, college: Texas Tech) added 18 points respectively. Five CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu and four Pitesti players scored in double figures. Pitesti's coach Hristu Sapera rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
