Semi-Finals Game 2: BG 89 Avides - Wasserburg 62-78

Wasserburg upset BG 89 Avides on the road and comleted the sweep of the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by TSV 1880 Wasserburg. Rotenburg/Scheessel managed to win fourth quarter 25-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American point guard Sheylani Peddy (170-88, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) scored 27 points and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Emma Cannon (187-89, college: Cent.Florida, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American power forward Kierra Mallard (190-90, college: Texas Tech) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Czech guard Katarina Flasarova (171-85) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
